Permanent 0 AP quests and Summonable Raid Bosses moved to Events[edit]

I'm unable to pinpoint exactly which Version Update it has been implemented in (sometime between Version 2.2.0 and 2.3.1, perhaps?), for Reference purposes, but as stated in the Section title, all Story & Proud Mode quests have since cost 0 AP, and all (summonable) Raid Bosses have been moved to Event quests (via Raid Boss summoning overhaul).
Since individually updating each Story & Proud Mode quest page to reflect this change would take forever, I propose a complete overhaul of this template, which would make the wiki-wide sweeping changes to all quest pages for us, converting all AP cost to 0, and removing Raid Bosses from the template entirely (without breaking the template). (Which would also effectively render the "Category:Quests with an unknown Raid Boss" completely useless.)
I'm unsure if making the necessary changes to the template is possible, without breaking how it displays information, or if an entirely new template must be created/written in order to make it work, but either one would be vastly more efficient than endeavoring to update each individual quest page, one at a time.
Please consider this proposal; and thank you for your time.

P.S. I realize that Event quests still cost AP, so parsing & separating Story & Proud Mode quest pages from Event quest pages, via this template, would be tricky, and could prove to be a similarly daunting task, but any Events that occurred after the overhaul could be manually changed/entered, and I believe it would be less Event quest pages than the Story & Proud Mode quest pages, which would be far more manageable than the 925 Story & Proud Mode quest pages.

Both AP reductions for the story quests weren't introduced with a version upgrade. With the story update on 10/12/17 (JP) and 10/05/17 (NA) the AP cap cost was reduced to 10 (from formerly max 25) and since 01/24/2019 story quests no longer cost AP and Raid Bosses won't spawn anymore.
I think it would be best to archive this information instead of outright removing it, by altering the template or otherwise, possibly with another reference. The mentioned category is maintenance/meta only, it should be of no real consequence. --ShardofTruth (talk) 14:57, 17 July 2020 (PDT)
Thank you for replying, ShardofTruth! (Apologies for my late reply. {I'm completing my task queue in order of arrival.} )
  • Oh, I never claimed that they were introduced with a Version Update; only that it was implemented sometime between Version Updates, which (based on the date on the Update Notice you dug up) it was.
  • Yes! That was the Update Notice that I was looking for! Thank you for digging that up for me! :D
  • Oh, I didn't mean that it would be completely removed (from their respective page{s} ) without archiving the old data; only that an update to the template could do the work of displaying the necessary updates on all of the quest pages,
while the obsolete data could either be displayed someplace else on the template, or re-entered (on the page) using another method (i.e. manually on each page, or with another template, which I don't mind doing).
In an attempt to do this, I tried to make the ref link show up with one of the quest pages, the way it functions on other pages, but for some reason it wouldn't work/display the ref link & list as intended, despite using the same syntax as the page that displayed it, so I had to manually enter the info, as a temporary measure, and return to it after learning/reverse-engineering the correct syntax.
However, the template (& many other templates) currently doesn't have a thorough syntax "Usage" section, so that I could learn & reverse-engineer it, and correctly apply the necessary changes
(and the individual who reverted my attempts didn't bother mentoring me on the correct syntax usage, instead of hounding my revisions, making fly-swatter/whack-a-mole reversions to them, & leaving passive-aggressive Summary notes =_= ),
so I was at a loss as to how it was working on templates on other pages, but not the one I was working on. If I knew the correct syntax, then I could proceed accordingly, and have all the quest pages swiftly updated.
One more thing! Off-topic, but I was wondering if you could also dig up the Notice where the devs stated the optimal method of Raiding/Collecting Lux (via "1-Hit medals", as stated on the Notice), for me?
I think it might have been released earlier this year(?), but I didn't get a chance to save the Notice's URL.
