Date added is essentially the same thing, and is non-obvious to readers trying to look up a medal. With album order, they can easily figure out what the gaps in their album are. Date added is going to continuously become an irrelevant ID each time new medals are added. - Yes, the Jungle Book Event! was added later than the last Epic Medal Carnival!, but Illustrated Aerith was released the same time as the current Epic Medal Carnival!.
